This very comfortable ‘rez du jardin’ or ground floor apartment, built in 1991, is set in a prestigious eleven acre private domain.
It is 7 Kilometres from Cannes and within walking distance of the internationally renowned Cannes/Mougins Country Club and golf course.

There is a grocery shop, pizzeria and boulangerie immediately outside the gates of the domain. More extensive shopping can be done less than a kilometre away. The beautiful hill village of Mougins is close by – approx 1 kilometre. It is traffic free and reputed to have more Michelin star restaurants per square metre than any other place in France.
The apartment is fifteen minutes drive from the Croisette in Cannes and five kilometres from Antibes and the beaches of Juan les Pins, It can be reached in twenty minutes from Nice airport. There are a number of golf courses close by the nearest being the Cannes/Mougins Country Club which is within walking distance. Nice, Monte Carlo and Italy to the east are short car journeys away while to the west Port Grimaud and St Tropez can be easily reached. Other places of interest such as Biot, St Paul de Vence and VaIlauris are close by. In the winter months there are nineteen miles of ski slopes an hours drive away at Greolieres-les-Neiges and more skiing at lsola 2000.

Linen and towels are included in the price. Cleaning during your stay can be arranged.

Interior description

The living/dining room has two French doors that open on to a terrace which lead onto the garden. The terrace has a large table and chairs and an electric blind. It is South West facing.

There are four bedrooms sleeping a total of eight people. The first is a double en suite with its own bathroom and dressing room. The bathroom has a full bath with a shower attachment, washbasin and WC.
The second third and fourth bedrooms are twins, one of which has French windows leading onto its own small terrace. The second, third and fourth bedroom have fitted wardrobes. There are further two separate shower rooms and two WCs.

The kitchen is American style open plan equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and two fridges with freezer compartments. There is satellite TV with children’s channel and a radio cassette player and DVD.

There is an adsl connection.

The domain and gardens

The residential area is entirely enclosed with the entrance equipped with electronically controlled gates.

A caretaker lives in the domain and security is completed by a telephone connection from the gates to the apartment. There is a half Olympic size (25 meters) swimming pool and two tennis courts set amidst well maintained gardens of mature trees and shrubs.
There is also a table tennis room and a boules court. All the facilities are exclusively reserved for the residents and their guests.

The apartment has an area of one hundred square metres with a private garden of about eighty square meters.

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking form, together with a deposit of 25% of the rental cost. The balance must be paid eight weeks prior to arrival.

A security deposit of £800 should be paid two weeks before arrival, which will be returned less any charges for utilities.  Final cleaning is £100.

We stayed for 12 nights and it was an absolutely amazing holiday. We were traveling with two kids - 3 yrs old and a baby. The apartment has tons of separate rooms and a lot of washrooms. This is very helpful for us as we could use one for kids and one for each of us. The kitchen has everything you need. The private backyard was very nice and the grounds the unit is on are lovely. The pool is absolutely huge and the people who are there are nice and interesting. The area is great because Mougins itself is beautiful town and then you can quite easily drive to Nice, Monaco, Cap St Jean Ferrat or any of the surrounding coastal villages. I also really liked how there is a useful grocery store and restaurant within a five minute walk from the place. All in all I would recommend this place for families or groups of people.

The French Riviera has a very stable Mediterranean climate.  Spring, summer and autumn are always sunny and the winters are gentle.  The summers can be very hot.  Rainfall is infrequent and rarely lasts long occurs mainly in March-April and October-November
