Neighbourhood overview

Cheong Mong is a charming area with one of the best beaches on the island just a short stroll down through the Sala Samui resort, spend the whole day on the beach, or have a beach massage, not to be missed. Plenty of good restaurants serving all types of food, the nearest being Mr Eung, which is just outside with fantastic Thai food. A number of our guests rate him very highly.

The villa is situated in a secure site under management and staff available all day plus you have an emergency number should you need.

The wonderful Cheong Mon beach and town are just a 5 minute walk away, you can hop in a Tuk Tuk or a Taxi to take you to the wonderful Fisherman Village ( make sure you visit the market on a Friday evening) and also onto Chewang the main town, each place is 15 minutes drive away.

Outside

This is were we spend our time.

Lazing around the very large pool, take a dip or just sit on one of the many sun beds and read a book.

There is a nice grassed area for the children to play and no one can see you out there so its very private and safe.

In the evening have a nice glass of wine or two under the sala, or dinner alfresco.

Koh Samui has a tropical monsoon climate and consists of three seasons.  The Dry Season: (December to February) is the peak season with cooler temperatures, little rain and calm seas.  The Hot Season: (March and April) is the hottest time of the year.  (May to September) sees strong sunshine during the day followed by afternoon thunderstorm – a mini-monsoon season.  The Rainy Season: (September to November) sees the heaviest rainfall although it does not rain every day.
