The property’s location on this picturesque coastline offers you the chance to get away from the crowds and discover the real Cyprus. Nearby mountain and rural villages remain largely untouched by commercialism; explore secluded coves and vast sandy beaches on the Karpas peninsula; or for a more lively scene visit Kyrenia with its cobbled streets, horseshoe harbour, shopping and bars, or the ancient walled cities in Nicosia and Famagusta with their mosques, museums and colourful markets. This area simply bristles with history – Byzantine and Roman ruins are everywhere, and if you fancy some exercise you can explore the rocky heights of the crusader castles located high on the mountain peaks. Fishing and boat trips, water sports, scuba, paragliding and horse riding activities are all available nearby

The Karpaz Peninsula is an area of outstanding natural beauty which is completely unspoilt and non-touristy; along the coastal road there are numerous sandy bays completely untouched; beach cafes and beach hotels.  Within walking distance there is a local restaurant, a bar that serves good food , an ice cream parlour and a well stocked supermarket. 

For a wider choice of restaurants and all amenities, then you need to travel in the car a short car journey to Kyrenia and within 20 minutes drive you will find £10 will buy a good meal and £15-£20 a meal as good as most restaurants in London.

The current exchange rate is very favourable. Car hire is also cheap at about £18-£25 per day for a family sized car, depending on model and season.

There is a lift in the apartment building providing wheelchair access.

From Larnaca Airport the transfer time is longer approximately 80 mins drive to the villa.

The nearby Korineum Golf and Country Club is an international standard 18-hole championship course with stunning views of the Mediterranean. The 72-par course was carved from the natural forest of umbrella pines and olive trees on the slopes of the Beşparmak mountains, and is designed to challenge all standards and ages. There is a fabulous driving range, 3 dedicated training holes, luxurious clubhouse that rivals any 5-star facility in the world, a pro-shop, restaurant, bar, spa and gym facilities.  They have recent added a professional tennis academy to their top class facilities.  (5 mins drive).

FLEXIBLE RENTALS : there is no set start day for the rental week and rental is pro-rate for part weeks

For long term lets the rental charge is negotiable and a discount maybe agreed

Linen and towels provided but please bring own beach/pool towels

Meter readings will be taken at the start and finish of the holiday for electricity and water.

A well-behaved dog is allowed but sorry, no cats.
Please note there is no protection around the swimming pool and the house is only suited for children who swim unless parents take full responsibility for children at all times.
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
Refundable breakages deposit of £200 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

Check in time is 4pm and check out time latest is 12noon (unless a later time is agreed at the outset)

 



 

26 Sep 2012 5/5 "Excellent location for sea view and for comfort." We stayed for two weeks in September and it was sunny everyday.The villa was as shown on the rental website and it is very well managed with the pool being cleaned twice a week. The location was excellent just few minutes walk to the beech ( hardly anybody there), and a local supermarket. The owners were very help full with answering any queries we had to make our stay a pleasure. We will be staying there again in the future.

North Cyprus enjoys a very pleasant climate, with warm, dry summers and mild winters, and an average of 300 days of sunshine. In August, the hottest month, mean temperatures range from 21°C to 36°C and in the coldest months of January and February, the average temperature is around 10°C, with a winter average of 6 hours daily sunshine and only moderate rain, making it an ideal year-round destination for holidaymakers. 

 North Cyprus as well as the whole island enjoys typical Mediterranean climate with long, warm and dry summers from mid-May to mid-October and mild and wet winters from December to February. The short autumn and spring periods complete the seasons of the year.
