This island of stone, sea and sunshine is the largest in central Dalmatia. Brac Island has craggy shores and brown rocks, but also boasts wonderful beaches, such as Zlatni Rat (Golden Tongue), a spectacular jewel of nature.

The limestone karst and scrub alternate with fertile fields in the interior and pine woods on the heights.  Villages scattered along the coast and in the interior of Brac Island are like stone monuments, guarding the rich heritage of the past centuries.

Brac Island has had many rulers during its history, but its spirit remains unchanged and is best expressed in its most enduring product - the famous Brač stone. Some of that spirit has been incorporated in historical buildings, such as Diocletian's Palace in Split, and more modern edifices, such as The White House in Washington.

From year to year the number of visitors to Brac Island increases, particularly since the island airport was built, and they all find it hard to resist the peculiar charm of this island, which has so much to offer.

Villa Brune is located on the intriguing island of Brac - Bol Town, which 2010 was awarded "the Absolute Champion of Croatian Tourism". Villa Brune is located just half-way from the centre of Bol and this glorious beach.

Villa Brune has a modern architectural design, yet using local materials, such as the Brač stone. Such a stone path leads to not one but two separate dwellings, each connected by an inner courtyard. Nestled in between and hidden from views there is a beautiful swimming pool and surrounding terrace paved with local Brac stone.

The villa can comfortably sleep up to twelve guests, with extra beds up to 16 guests, in privacy, luxury and comfort. So it's an ideal choice for larger families, groups of friends or even a corporate vacation.

The spacious and open design of Villa Brune created the perfect setting for a marvellous holiday-you and your guests can relax in
complete comfort; enjoy typical Mediterranean outdoor living and entertainment as well as experience authentic island living on one of the most delightful spots in the Mediterranean.

The first building, closer to the sea, has stunning views through the pines.
