Located in 8 acres on the banks of the River Thames, the property lies in one of the most picturesque areas of South Oxfordshire, within the small hamlet of Burcot-on-Thames, close to the historic town of Abingdon. The charming village of Dorchester-on-Thames is less than a mile away, with its own abbey and plenty of good restaurants and pubs, and there is a fine pub only 200 yards from the property also serving good food.

There is plenty to see and do in this area; historic Oxford, Henley on Thames and Windsor with its royal castle are all within a 20-minute drive, and the Georgian heritage city of Bath and the stunning scenery of the quintessentially English Cotswolds are slightly further afield.

London can be accessed within about an hour by road or train, and there are various places of interest to discover nearby including Blenheim Palace.
