Property Description

Set on a small private hillside estate, this beautifully decorated and elegantly furnished 2 bedroom apartment has magnificent views from the large terrace, making it ideal for two couples or a family to discover the wonders of Positano.

The apartment is within easy reach of restaurants and shops in Positano yet in a more verdant setting with magnificient southerly views back to Positano and out to sea.

Note: Due to steps, this property is unsuitable for young children or those with mobility problems.

Luggage can only be dropped off at the entrance to the small private estate and cars must be parked in garages in Positano - approximately Euro 20 per day.

Air conditioned taxi transfers from Naples Airport to the entrance of the estate also available.

 

Inside the Property

Steps lead down from the entrance to this hillside estate just east of the centre of Positano through pretty terraced gardens to the large south facing terrace and entrance of this property.

The entrance leads into the kitchen and then to the right to a very pretty twin bedroom which has a shower room en suite and French windows onto the terrace.

The attractive open plan sitting room with dining area is to the left of the kitchen and has French windows onto the terrace.

The double bedroom has a bathroom en suite with a walk-in shower and French windows onto the terrace.

All the rooms open onto the terrace which is partly shaded with a paved area and flower beds and climbing plants.

The views of Positano and the Galli Islands are quite sublime.

Note: Air conditioning, heating if required,WiFi and telephone are all payable locally and on usage.

 

Outside the Property

THere is a flight of stone stops continuing down from the property to a small shared swimming pool and further down to a semi-private beach.

Booking & Payment Info

A 30% deposit must be paid along with a security damage deposit of 1500 euros at the time of booking.
The full balance of the rental price including any charges (made by any supplementary invoice) must be paid 8 weeks before departure.

Insurance must be taken out in order to cover all clients and their holiday arrangements.

Once a booking has been confirmed any changes will incur a £30 amendment fee per person in respect of each change to cover costs incurred. Changes cannot be made within 42 days of departure.

All cancellations by Client must be made in writing from the person who signed the booking form, either by recorded delivery or fax. If the cancellation notification is received 43 days or more before the departure date, only the holiday deposit and insurance premium is forfeit. Within this period the following percentage of the total holiday price will be payable as a cancellation charge by the Client:

Between 42 - 28 days before departure 60%

Between 27 - 15 days before departure 80%

Between 14 and the departure date or later 100%

Linen and Towels are provided once per week on Saturday. Extra changes are available on request for an additional cost.

The swimming pool (0.9m - 1.5m deep) is open from 16 May until 18 September 2009. Outside these dates, the pool can be opened on request, for an extra charge.

There is maid service for 2 hours, 2 days per week.
