Property Description

Casa Beatrice is a unique house that was designed, built and furnished by a diplomat, whose various posts and extensive travels enabled him to gather an eclectic collection of beautiful paintings, statues, tapestries, rugs, furniture and ornaments, all which adorn the interiors of this charming villa.

Built in a traditional Mediterranean style into the side of a hill, each of the three floors of Villa Beatrice has access to sunny terraces, a pool and the surrounding lush gardens, full of lemon, orange, olive and palm trees, as well as a rich variety of Mediterranean flowers.

The bedrooms are tastefully furnished, mostly with en suite bathrooms and some with the luxury of independent access to the outside terraces, ensuring total privacy.

Guests can also dip into the library, with its extensive assortment of books on art, history, exploration, literature, religion, philosophy, political periodicals and not forgetting essential guide books to Ischia, Capri, Procida, Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum.

The sea and nearest beach of Maronti, with its volcanic steam is only a 5 minute car journey away, but a bathe in the termal springs of Sant'Angelo or gardens of Poseidon or la Mortella is an experience not to be missed!

Inside the Property

The accommodation is as follows:

On the Ground Floor there is a shower room, a single bedroom, a double bedroom with a bathroom en suite and a second double bedroom. The beds on this floor maybe made up as twin beds, if required.

On the First Floor there is the sitting room, the kitchen, the dining room, a double bedroom with a bathroom en suite, a second double bedroom with a bathroom and walk in shower en suite.

On the Second Floor there is the library, the Master double bedroom with its bathroom and walk in shower en suite.

Outside the Property

With an excellent cook service and outdoor dining area under the jasmine-covered loggia, no one will want to leave this oasis, as one unwinds on the terraces and in the pool, surrounded by bougainvillea, taking in the spectacular sea views.

Booking & Payment Info

A 30% deposit must be paid and a security damage deposit of 1500 euros at the time of booking.
The full balance of the rental price including any charges (made by any supplementary invoice) must be paid 8 weeks before departure.

Insurance must be taken out in order to cover all clients and their holiday arrangements.

Once a booking has been confirmed any changes will incur a £30 amendment fee per person in respect of each change to cover costs incurred. Changes cannot be made within 42 days of departure.

All cancellations by Client must be made in writing from the person who signed the booking form, either by recorded delivery or fax. If the cancellation notification is received 43 days or more before the departure date, only the holiday deposit and insurance premium is forfeit. Within this period the following percentage of the total holiday price will be payable as a cancellation charge by the Client:

Between 42 - 28 days before departure 60%

Between 27 - 15 days before departure 80%

Between 14 and the departure date or later 100%

The swimming pool is open from 19 May until 22 September. Outside these dates, the pool can be opened on request for a charge of £100/£200 per week.

The telephone is payable locally, if used. 

A baby cot is available at no extra charge.

Linen and towels are provided and changed once per week on a Saturday. Extra changes are available on request, at an additional charge.

Maid service is provided for 2 hours, 5 days per week.
