A stylish and welcoming home that sleeps 10 in the heart of Chianti, this is a wonderful setting for a holiday with friends or family. Ideal in the summer with its extensive terraced gardens, a choice of beautiful outside dining areas and a large pool, while its exceptionally comfortable and elegant interiors make it a suitable house in cooler months of the year. Ideal for an anniversary or special celebration.

Cleverly combining antique pieces and furniture from their travels with the colours and relaxed country style of Tuscany, the owners of the villa have created an unusually beautiful home on the edge of a rural hamlet.

Chianti is perhaps the best known of all Tuscany's varied panoramas. Located between Siena and Florence and known above all for its good wine, Chianti is dotted with pretty hill top towns and villages, green hills, undulating rows of vines, olive groves and swathes of pine and ancient oak. A perfect base for sightseeing, countryside pursuits and shopping trips. 

Siena is high on the list of day trips for all visitors to Tuscany as it is brimming with beauty, culture, Renaissance art and architecture.  Highly recommended is a visit to the central piazza or 'Campo', the location of the famous Palio horse race, it's colourful cathedral, pretty shops and excellent

Inside the Property

Ground Floor: A comfortable sitting room with fireplace is wonderful in the cooler months. Many guests love looking through the interesting books left by the owners. Experienced pianists will also appreciate the Bluthner grand piano. The sitting room/library has French windows leading out to a loggia.

Each bedroom has a unique style with colour-washed walls and wooden beamed ceilings.

There is a twin bedroom, a bathroom and a double (queen size) bedroom, a further sitting room and a double bedroom with bathroom en suite on this level.

First Floor: There is welcoming kitchen with open fireplace and dining area is also the setting for delicious Tuscan, a Master bedroom with 4 poster bed with bathroom en suite, a twin bedroom, a bathroom and study/TV room.

Further Information: Discreet English-speaking staff live separately in the grounds in self-contained accommodation (not overlooking terraces or pool) ready to do extra cooking and laundry if required. A dog is kept in an enclosed area set  away from the house and is looked after by the resident staff.

Outside the Property

The large covered dining terrace above lawned terraces studded with olive trees, commands a unique view of a ruined castle against a spectacular panorama of rolling woodlands, premium Chianti vineyards and the uplands of Le Crete.

A huge pool deep enough for serious swimmers and with shaded pavilion is set in the extensive lawned gardens and is in an inviting setting for ultimate relaxation. The pool has built-in ladder steps and is open from mid-May to mid-September. Outside these dates, the pool can be opened on request, for an extra charge. Pool towels are included in the rental price.

Booking & Payment Info

A 30% deposit must be paid along with a security damage deposit of 1500 euros at the time of booking.
The full balance of the rental price including any charges (made by any supplementary invoice) must be paid 8 weeks before departure.

Insurance must be taken out in order to cover all clients and their holiday arrangements.

Once a booking has been confirmed any changes will incur a £30 amendment fee per person in respect of each change to cover costs incurred. Changes cannot be made within 42 days of departure.

All cancellations by Client must be made in writing from the person who signed the booking form, either by recorded delivery or fax. If the cancellation notification is received 43 days or more before the departure date, only the holiday deposit and insurance premium is forfeit. Within this period the following percentage of the total holiday price will be payable as a cancellation charge by the Client:

Between 42 - 28 days before departure 60%

Between 27 - 15 days before departure 80%

Between 14 and the departure date or later 100%

Linen and towels are provided once a week on Saturday. Extra changes are available on request for an additional charge.

Maid service is 4 hours, 6 days per week.

There is a complimentay arrival meal. Please advise us before departure of any allergies or particular dislikes.
