Property Description
This beautiful 2 bedroom apartment is situated in is set in the La Maestranza development one of the most sought after locations on the Costa del Sol and less than 15 minutes walk from the world famous marina of Puerto Banus and 2 minutes from several restaurants, shops and a supermarket, you can enjoy a varied and entertaining holiday without the need for a car. Should you wish to venture further a field, you will find the accommodation is within easy access of all the major tourist locations.
La Maestranza is an established development set in mature tropical gardens with quiet walkways and courtyards in the style of a traditional Andalucian pueblo. This low rise development has 3 pools, including a heated pool and children's paddling pool. La Maestranza is designed in the style of traditional Spanish village surrounded by mature tropical gardens. There are steps around the complex leading to each area though ramps are provided. The local supermarket will also deliver goods to apartment.
If you don't feel like cooking, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or an evening meal around the corner. There is also a supermarket, chemist and dry cleaners in the next street. A little further up the road on route to the marina is the Plaza with more shops and several cafes. There is a market on Saturday just five minutes walk from the apartment.
Puerto Banus has at least 9 golf courses within 10 minutes drive and La Quinta, Guadalmina, Los Naranjos, Las Brisas and Aloha Golf courses are almost on your doorstep.
There are many beautiful resorts, towns and villages worth seeing during your stay. One of the must see locations on a visit to the Costa del Sol, Ronda is a beautiful, well preserved historic town just 30 minutes from Marbella with a population of 36,000. The town is steeped in history and is dominated by the fact that the town is split in two sections by a 100m deep gorge (El Tajo canyon). This spectacular gorge is bridged by the New Bridge built in 1751 which took 42 years to build. This magnificent structure is one of the most photographed in Spain. Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway resided in Ronda for many years, and both wrote about its beauty, adding to the areas fame.
Gaucin (pronounced gow-theen) is a traditional Spanish village on a hillside with the Castillo del Aguila ruin as its main focal point that is visible from miles away. Gaucin is located north of Casares and to the west of Ronda some 2000 feet above sea level and is a popular area for foreign visitors and property owners. The area surrounding Gaucin is stunning in any direction. particularly in winter and spring and makes for a very enjoyable trip. You can see the coast, North Africa and Gibraltar on a clear day. For such a small town there is a very good selection of bars and restaurants serving international cuisine, a testament to the areas appeal to tourists. Rare birds and an abundance of other wildlife and flora make the area popular with nature lovers, ramblers and artists. The narrow streets which are designed for mules make it difficult for cars so it's advised to park on the entrance and walk around.

Inside the Property
The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom one has twin beds (although they zip together to form a king size bed) It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a power shower. Bedroom two also has twin beds. There is an extra fold out bed kept in a cupboard that can be used for additional guests. Cots and put up beds can be hired locally at reasonable cost. The kitchen has a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hob. The apartment has individually controlled heating and cooling units in each room. Although air-conditioning is rarely needed as there is usually a cooling breeze due to the apartment's location. There is a full Sky satellite TV package. There are two TV's, a 40" in the sitting room and a smaller flat screen in the master bedroom.
For guests use there is a spanish Pay as you Go mobile.

The main pool featured will be closed for refurbishment from October to March. However, the smaller heated pool will be open

Booking & Payment Info
PAYMENT: A deposit cheque/transfer for 50% of the total cost is required at the time of booking. The final balance is required 8 weeks before the arrival date.
A bond/security deposit of £250 is also taken to cover telephone and any breakages.
