Property Description

This recently renovated fisherman's cottage sleeps 8 people in 3 bedrooms and is just 50 metres from the beach of the fishing village of Tamariu.

Tamariu is situated in a small secluded bay between the towns of Begur and Palafrugel. Small coves set amongst rugged tree-lined cliffs, crystal clear water and beautiful beaches have made the area famous the world over for its beauty.

The village has a small selection of village shops, a diving centre and offers the possibility of renting a boat to explore the surrounding coastline and it is an excellent spot to use as a base to get to know the Costa Brava.

Take a half day trip to the nearby picturesque medieval town of Pals, or the nearby small resorts of Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell, but a 'must' includes the Cap Roig Botanical Gardens and Castle, San Sebastian Mountain and lighthouse for stunning views, or a full day trip to the amazing cities of Girona and Barcelona are easy to do.

Inside the Property

The accommodation consists of:

A cosy living area with log burning stove, which leads into the well equipped kitchen which includes a traditional open fireplace.

There are 3 bedrooms: A double bedroom, a family bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. There is a further double bedroom.  In total there three shower rooms, two upstairs and one downstairs.

There is a separate outdoor dining terrace

 

Outside the Property

There is a separate outdoor dining terrace with a BBQ, along with a shaded garden lounge area.

Booking & Payment Info

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, the remainder of the cost of the rental is due 8 weeks before the first day of the holiday. 

Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday, require full payment at the time of booking.

A damage deposit of £200 is required, this deposit will cover any damage to the accommodation or contents (the accommodation being the cottage or apartment and grounds), although the clients liability is not limited to this amount. A damage deposit cheque is due before arrival, ideally with the final balance payment. This will be refunded or accounted for within 2 weeks of the end of the holiday.

In the event of cancellation prior to 8 weeks before the start of the holiday, only the booking deposit will be forfeited. Thereafter, cancellation charges will be the full rental.

Insurance is strongly recommended for both medical and personal cover, which includes cancellation charges.

Rental period is Saturday to Saturday. Check in 16:00 and check out 10:00 on day of departure.

Rental price includes all linen and towels.

Not suitable for elderly or infirm.

No pets and no smoking allowed at Fisherman's Cottage.

Available for long term lets over 1 month. Corporate bookings will be considered.
