Property Description

The resort of Gouves with its sandy beach and numerous taverna's, bars and shops, is situated approximately 10 miles east of Heraklion.

This air conditioned villa is located in a quiet, elevated position, less than a 10 minute drive inland from this bustling, little resort. 

Inside the Property

From the electric gated entrance, the driveway leads to the parking area and the pool level, from here steps lead up to the front of the property.

This beautiful villa has been tastefully furnished with fixtures and fitting being of the highest quality.

The main lounge has a large flat screen TV (limited satellite channels), a DVD player, a music centre and a feature fireplace, whilst the dining area is furnished to seat 8 people.

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a large American style fridge/freezer and a built-in microwave. Doors from the kitchen lead to a side patio with a Kleftico oven, a BBQ and steps lead down to the pool terrace.

From the lounge, stairs lead down to a wonderful recreational area and a second smaller lounge where there is a jacuzzi hot tub, a sauna, a running machine anda 'multi gym. There are patio doors leading out on to the pool terrace. On this same level, there is a double bedroom (two beds together) with a shower room ensuite and patio doors to the pool.

From the main lounge, stairs lead up to the main bedroom accommodation. This consists of two pretty double bedrooms, each with a shower room ensuite and patio doors on to a small rear terrace. The large Master double bedroom has windows overlooking the front of the property with spectacular views over the open countryside to the sea in the distance, as well as patio doors to the rear terrace. This Master bedroom has its own full family bathroom ensuite, with a small bath and shower above.

Each bedroom has a portable TV, which is linked to the main system.

A further flight of stairs, lead uo from the bedroom accommodation to a balcony overlooking the pool and has a 180 degree view over the surrounding area - a perfect place for private sunbathing!

The stairs continue up to a large games lounge and bar area, with leather sofas, a flat screen TV, a pool table, two original card tables and finally a shower room with WC. Large windows run the length of this room, which has wonderful views from every aspect. 

Outside the Property

Outside the lovely 8 metre swimming pool is accessed via a ladder and is surrounded by spacious well furnished sun terraces. There is a ping pong table.

There is private parking.

Booking & Payment Info

PAYMENT: A deposit cheque for 50% of the total cost is required. Final balance required 8 weeks before the due date.

A bond/security deposit of €800 is also taken to cover telephone and any breakages.

Baby cot free of charge.
