Property Description

15 minutes by car from the airport and the capitol city of Chios. Shops in the village nearby. Looks out over a little fishing village and harbour of Katarraktis which has lovely restaurants on the harbour front, within walking distance of the house. The house is in the country side surrounded by mastic and olive trees. 15 minutes by car from one of the most popular beaches called Komi. Also near the most popular tourist resort of Karfas. The house is situated, as mentioned before, near Katarraktis and also near Kallimasia, which is also a good village to do your shopping. This location is ideal because it is very central on the island and everything is within a short distance.

Flights from Amsterdam directly to Chios in the season, off season via Athens.Flight time 3 hours.

Inside the Property

The property is divided into three floors. The top floor is a large bedroom with air conditioning, a bathroom ensuite, and a roof terrace. The ground floor is the living area with kitchen, seperate toilet, dining area and living room with a fireplace. The basement has four bedrooms and two bathrooms and a large living area with television and dvd equipment. One of the bathrooms downstairs has a bath, and all of them have showers. One of the downstairs bedrooms also has air conditioning. There is also a seperate area downstairs for the washing machine, central heating system and extra refrigerator. In the kitchen there's a microwave, induction cooker, oven, dishwasher, fridge with a deepfreeze. All the bedrooms have double beds. All the linen bedsheets and towels are in the house for the rest it is fully equipped.

Outside the Property

The house is surrounded on all sides by large terrasses, some of them covered. Lots of sitting and dining opportunities outside. The pool is 8 by 4 meters, and is weekly cleaned by a pool guy. The house is centrally heated, there is no airconditioning but there are fans.
