Property Description

This converted farm house is in the centre of a sleepy village of Sorrus near St -Josse within its own private grounds. Sorrus is a quiet rural village close to St-Josse and is in an ideal position to discover the surrounding areas. It is tastefully furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. The large sitting room/gallery is very comfortable and the dining room seats ten. In the garden there are tennis table, badminton, pool table and BBQ facilities. The master bedroom has a Napoleonic Bed c 1791. There are many local activities available including cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, roller blading, sailing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing Sorrus is only a 45 minute drive from Euro Tunnel on the A16 (junction 26). The house is 20 minutes away from Le-Toquet-Paris-Plage.

 

Inside the Property

The large sitting room/gallery is very comfortable and decorated with contemporary paintings and has an enormous arts and crafts sideboard. The modern kitchen diner seats six people with the original farmhouse table. The main dining room has large traditional dining table seating ten people. The master bedroom has a Napoleonic bedroom suite with en-suite shower-room. Please note that the stairs leading up to the bedrooms may be unsuitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Outside the Property

The garden is large and safe for children to play in. It includes a swing, toy shed, outdoor table tennis table, patio with sun loungers, BBQ area with garden furniture. The surrounding area is excellent for cycling so bring your bikes, if you can.

Booking & Payment Info

PAYMENT: A deposit cheque/transfer for 50% of the total cost is required at the time of booking. The final balance is required 8 weeks before the arrival date.

A bond/security deposit of £300 is also taken to cover telephone and any breakages.

Weeks start Saturday to Saturday arriving after 4pm departing before10 am. A refundable deposit for breakages of £300 needs to be sent by cheque in advance. Heating charges to be applied in wintr lets. Duvets are supplied with oblong pillows. Bed Linen if required at £10 per person. Bath towels available £5 per towel if required. Property should be left as found or cleaning charges will apply.(deductible from deposit). Attached Studio is available to rent for a supplement of £125 off peak Nov - mar and £210 peak Apr-Oct
