Property Description

In the heart of the Luberon National park, Villa Durance is situated midway between the ancient Provençal villages of Cururon and Cabrieres d'Aigues.

Set within 14 acres of wooded parkland, this is the ideal location from which to explore this fascinating area. This property is surrounded by sunflowers, vines and olive groves, while to the east, are views of the Alpes de Haute Provence.

Inside the Property

This old 'Mas' has been recently restored and offers very elegant accommodation.

The living room with its large, stone fireplace opens to the garden. Just off the living room is a TV room with an internet point. There is a dining room with a fireplace, which opens on one side to the front of the house and the other to the pool terrace. The country style kitchen is very well equipped with a large central work island and also opens on to the pool terrace. There is a laundry room with a second dishwasher and two washing machines.

On the Ground Floor, there is a double bedroom with a canopied bed and a bathroom en suite.

On the First Floor, the bedroom are divided into two wings, each accessed by a separate staircase.

In one wing, there are two bedrooms which can either be made up as a super king size double or two twins, each with a shower room or bathroom en suite, and a third double bedroom with a queen size bed and a shower room en suite.

In the other wing, there is a family room with a king size double bed with a built in, L-shaped sofa, suitable for two children, and a shower room en suite. There is a further bedroom which can either be made up as a super king double or two twin beds, with a shower room en suite.

Outside the Property

The kidney -shaped swimming pool is enclosed by a stone wall and has a shallow en (1m deep) ledge, which is ideal for children to play in and a diving board at the deep end.

There is a poolside bar with a fridge and sink, and the dining terrace provides the perfect place to relax and dine al fresco.

Booking & Payment Info

A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking. The balance is due 9 weeks before departure.

A security deposit of £1000 is taken a the time of final balance, this is to cover any breakages or damage to the property during the rental period and will be refunded within 21 days of your return.

The property rental is for 7 nights for a maximum of 12 people occupying the property, including utilities, bed, bath and kitchen linen.

Check in is not before 1700 hrs on the arrival day and the villa must be vacated by 1000 hrs on the day of departure.

There is maid service for 10 hours per week.
