Property Description

Villa Mina is built of local honey-coloured stone and sits in an elevated position towards the western end of the Luberon. This is a new villa, built and furnished to the highest standards, that offers extensive accommodation and a good range of amenities. It is an ideal choice for an extended family, two families wishing to holiday together or a group of friends.

Villa Mina is ideally located if you want to explore this fascinating region.  The nearest village is Coustellet, only 1 km away, where in addition to shops there is a Museum of Lavender.  The lovely village of Gordes, with a good range of amenities is 8 kms away, Isle sur la Sorgue, often called the ‘Venice of Provence’ with its canals and waterways and its many antique markets is only 15 kms.  The most famous villages of the Luberon – Menerbes, Lacoste and Bonnieux are all within 25 kms.  The nearest 18-hole golf course is 15 kms away at Saumane.  Avignon, with its famous bridge and a very convenient TGV link to London, is perhaps the most beautiful of all Provence’s towns, and is 40 kms away.  The cultural centre of Aix-en-Provence is 70 kms away, with its celebrated opera and music festivals.  International airports can be found in Marseille 80 kms, Nimes 85 kms and Nice 235 kms

Inside the Property

Villa Mina is light and airy throughout, the pale colour-washed walls complement the cool tiled floors and from the main windows, there are wonderful views over the gardens and the valley.

The entrance hall leads to the living room with an open fireplace and is furnished with cool white sofas.  The modern kitchen, with its stainless steel appliances and grey units, is well equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a dining table.

There is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.

From the kitchen, doors lead out to two of the terraces which surround the villa.

There is a separate dining room with double doors opening on to the rear terrace.

There is also a cloakroom.

On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms, one of which has a bathroom en suite, whilst the other 2 share a shower room.

There are stairs up to the first floor where there is the Master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a private terrace with far reaching views.

There are 2 further bedrooms, one with a bathroom en suite and the other with a shower room en suite.

One of the features of the 6 bedrooms is that they can all be made up as double or twin-bedded rooms, according to the make up of the party occupying the villa. 

Outside the Property

Villa Mina is surrounded by lawns and terracing. At the rear of the villa, there is a covered, furnished dining area, perfect for long, lazy al fresco lunches.

Steps lead down to the lawned areas and to the large swimming pool, which is surrounded by furnished terraces. The pool measures 13 x 6 m, has an electric safety cover and can be heated for early season holidays.

Booking & Payment Info

A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking. The balance is due 9 weeks before departure.

A security deposit will be held by means of a credit card authorisation.

The rental price includes property rental for 7 nights for a maximum of 12 people occupying the property. Bed, bath and kitchen linen. Utilities.

Pool heating is available at Euros 250 per week.

Additional charges for electricity and heating apply from 1 January to 31 May and from 1 October to 23 December.
