Originally built in 1840 as a 'gentleman's residence, Villa Roses has been stunningly coverted into a stylish and luxurious home.

The property sleeps up to 18 people confortably, with its 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, making it the ideal property for a large family holiday, or several families wanting to enjoy a special getaway location.

Lovingly restored by its owners, Villa Roses, has been carefully renovated over the last three years by craftsmen entirely dedicated to restoring this architecturally splendid property. The main house was built in 1840 on land formerly owned by the Duchy of Uzès and enjoys pleasant country views.

The sophisticated market town of Uzès is well known for its Saturday market that feature more than 200 stalls and is the ideal place to buy wonderful French delicacies.

Uzès also boasts many restaurants, fountains, chic boutiques and a magnificent square. Just to the East is the Pont du Guard, a wonderful recreation area with a 4th Century viaduct.

Inside the Property

The accommodation consists of:

Main Floor. Sitting room with fireplace, study, dining room, breakfast room, utility room, WC.

Ground Floor -Separate Entrance: Double bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower, sitting room with fireplace.

First Floor: Three double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.

First Floor - Separate Entrance: Two twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.

Second Floor: Twin bedroom, family bathroom, children's dormitory with four beds.

Outside the Property

The wonderful romantic arcades of the courtyard or any one of the multiple patios and terraces provide delightful outside dining areas. From the central courtyard, with its elegant and formal rose garden, there is an entrance into the swimming pool area, which is beautifully secluded and with views looking to the West.

The park surrounding the house has a stone wall and is composed of gardens with lavender, rose beds, mature oak, cedar, pine and olive trees.

For guests who prefer to be more active, there is plenty to do here. Relish the splendidly large pool with its added jacuzzi feature, or perhaps test your skills on the professional 'boules' court, which is hidden within the garden. For the very active there are 2 tennis clubs conveniently located within a 3- minute drive from the house with free membership included.

Booking & Payment Info

A 30% deposit must be paid along with a security damage deposit of 1500 euros at the time of booking.
The full balance of the rental price including any charges (made by any supplementary invoice) must be paid 8 weeks before departure.

Insurance must be taken out in order to cover all clients and their holiday arrangements.

Once a booking has been confirmed any changes will incur a £30 amendment fee per person in respect of each change to cover costs incurred. Changes cannot be made within 42 days of departure.

All cancellations by Client must be made in writing from the person who signed the booking form, either by recorded delivery or fax. If the cancellation notification is received 43 days or more before the departure date, only the holiday deposit and insurance premium is forfeit. Within this period the following percentage of the total holiday price will be payable as a cancellation charge by the Client:

Between 42 - 28 days before departure 60%

Between 27 - 15 days before departure 80%

Between 14 and the departure date or later 100%

Pool Towels included.

Linen Change. Once a week on arrival day. Extra changes available on request for an additional charge.

Tenancy Times: Saturday changeover day. Tenancies commence at 16h00 on day of arrival and villa must be vacated at 10h00 on the day of departure.

Maid service, 3 hours, 5 days per week.
