Property Description

This comfortable and traditionally furnished 3 bedroom villa enjoys a raised position with beautiful views of the surrounding lawns, lavender beds, roses and olive groves, is situated in a peaceful location, surrounded by over an acre of Provencal gardens, with distant views of the Alpilles mountains, yet the property is just a 5 minute drive from the pretty town of L'Isle de la Sorgue.

L'isle de la Sorgue is known for its Sunday and Thurday market days, selling everything from fresh produce to books, jewellery, paintings, pottery as well as antiques. This attractive town, is surrounded by canals, crossed with narrow bridges and punctuated by water wheels and weirs. Along side the canals, there are many restaurants and cafes, whilst narrow streets, then lead through small squares, to the main square, with its Baroque-style church and colourful flower stalls. , where there are excellent Provencal markets.

The Provence Country Golf Course (18 holes) is 2 km away, and there is kayaking on the Sorgue river, just a 3 km drive.

Inside the Property

Traditional terracotta tiled floors throughout the house and the comfy furniture, give this property a cosy feeling to the interior.

There is an entrance hall, a sitting/living room with a fireplace and sliding doors leading out to the gardens, a well equipped kitchen, a dining room and a library/TV room with a large screen TV, surround sound system and a Blue Ray/DVD player - with a large film collection, as well as internet access and a laptop.

On the First floor, there is the Master double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, and two double/twin bedrooms with a separate bathroom.

There is air conditioning in the three bedrooms upstairs.

Outside the Property

The dining patio, adorned with wisteria and surrounded by roses, makes for a lovely spot for dininig or a well deserved drink after a day exploring this wonderful region.

The private pool is surrounded by a stone terrace with plenty of sun loungers and a parasol. There is also table tennis, a boules pitch and a BBQ.

Booking & Payment Info

A 30% deposit must be paid along with a security damage deposit of 1500 euros at the time of booking.
The security deposit is taken by way of a credit card and nothing is deducted unless there are damages to pay at the end of your vacation. The full balance of the rental price including any charges (made by any supplementary invoice) must be paid 8 weeks before departure.

Insurance must be taken out in order to cover all clients and their holiday arrangements.

Once a booking has been confirmed any changes will incur a £30 amendment fee per person in respect of each change to cover costs incurred. Changes cannot be made within 42 days of departure.

All cancellations by Client must be made in writing from the person who signed the booking form, either by recorded delivery or fax. If the cancellation notification is received 43 days or more before the departure date, only the holiday deposit and insurance premium is forfeit. Within this period the following percentage of the total holiday price will be payable as a cancellation charge by the Client:

Between 42 - 28 days before departure 60%

Between 27 - 15 days before departure 80%

Between 14 and the departure date or later 100%

Linen Change - once a week on arrival. Extra changes available on request for an additional charge.

Tenancies commence at 16:00 on the day of arrival and departure is at 10:00.
