Property Description

This lovely 6 bedroom, 19th century bastide has been sympathically renovated to a high standard in the Provencal style and is located in the peaceful village of Maillane, in the heart of Provence.

Villa Mirelli boasts roads lined with plane trees, cicadas and orchards with shady squares, with a Thursday market and a picture postcard location in the Alpilles.

A perfect property to explore the birthplace of Nostradamus and where Van Gogh painted 'Starry Night', St Remy de Provence has a wonderful history and heritage and today is an active village, with a collection of restaurants and shops.

Market day is Wednesday and enjoys a vibrant atmosphere with the Fete du Vin et de l'artisanat and the Feria Provancale, being the real highlights in the summer.

Other pretty villages punctuate the region including L'Isle sur la Sorgue, based on the islands around five brances of the Sorgue river, well known for its antique shops and pretty water wheels, that used to power the mills in the town.

On the Ground floor, the centre point of the house is the wonderful living room with a large fireplace, where cool, comfy fabrics can be found under the beautiful beamed ceilings.

There is a dining room, a well equipped kitchen, a TV snug room and a utility room.

On the First floor, the bedrooms are all of good size and well appointed, and all feature en suite facilities.

The Master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and shower room. There are two double bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom, and one with an en suite shower room. There is a twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom.

On the Second floor, there is a double bedroom, leading to a separate twin bedroom. There is a separate bathroom.

Outside the Property

Outside, there is a shaded dining area for lazy lunches, space to enjoy the sunshine and the private pool to cool off in, after a day's exploring.

There are tennis courts at the edge of the village.

Booking & Payment Info

A deposit is required on booking with the outstanding balance of the holiday required within 9 weeks of departure. The full amount is required if departure is within 9 weeks.

Standard holiday insurance is strongly recommended. 

Rentals are from Friday to Friday.

Tenancies commence at 16:00 hours on the day of arrival and villas are to be vacated at 10:00 hours on the day of departure.

Property available all year round.
