Property Description

This delightful farmhouse with its fabulous heated pool encaptures all that typifies relaxed Provencal living, with its spacious living areas, a professional kitchen and sleeping accommodation for up to 14 people. 

As the sleeping accommodation is divided between two ends of the house, providing further comfort, privacy and independence, this villa is the perfect choice for varying combinations of families and friends.

The property is set in an ancient fortified hilltop village which overlooks the northern plains and out to the Plateau du Vaucluse, and across to the Luberon mountains to the south. The village is set along a low ridge extending down from the watchtower and boasts a pretty church and some good restaurants.

Inside the Property

This tradtional Provencal stone farmhouse, with its classic blue shutters, beamed ceilings and limestone flooring, will appeal to the most discerning of guests.

Inside, the spacious breakfast/kitchen area opens onto the magnificient sitting room from both ends. This wonderfully comfortable and relaxing room with an original open fireplace (logs provided), is furnished with light, creamy fabrics, exuding an elegant atmosphere of space and light, with large French door to the terrace.

A stone archway leads to the dining area, also furnished Provencal style, with seating and dinner service for up to fourteen people.

There is also a utility room.

Upstairs, guests will love the fabulous 50 sqm Master bedroom with its en suite bathroom and sitting area, with full-length windows overlooking the gardens and mountains beyond.

The other bedrooms are spacious and thoughtfully appointed with fine linen, towels and hairdryers. They are divided between the West Wing and the East Wing.

In the West Wing, there is a twin bedroom with ensuite shower room, a bunk bedded room (with full size beds), a WC and a double bedroom (with king size bed), with an en suite bathroom, interconnecting with the bunk bedded room.

In the East Wing, there is a double bedroom (with king size bed) with an en suite bathroom, a second Master bedroom, with a sitting area, an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a shower room, and a twin bedroom, with large walk-in wardrobe.

Outside the Property

Beyond the charming outside dining area, in the shade of an ancient lime tree, is the large, heated (on request and payable) swimming pool, set amidst beautiful gardens and equipped with teak loungers and deck chairs.

There is also a two acre orchard/paddock, which provides a fantastic recreational area, along with a children's playground, with wooden frame swings and slide.

Booking & Payment Info

A deposit is required on booking with the outstanding balance of the holiday required within 9 weeks of departure. The full amount is required if departure is within 9 weeks.

Standard holiday insurance is strongly recommended. 

Tenancies commence at 16:00 hours on the day of arrival and villas are to be vacated at 10:00 hours on the day of departure.

Property available all year round.

Linen change on arrival day. Second change on request at extra charge, payable locally.

Maid service, 3 hours, 3 days a week, including Saturday - changeover day.

Pool heating on request, payable locally - 30 euros per day. Pool opening season 16 May to 26 Sept. Extra charge for pool opening out of season.

Cook service available on request, at additional charge. 

Baby equipment - Cot (2), high chairs (2), sterilizer and baby walker - all available on request.

Telephon/fax available - any charges will be taken from the security deposit guarantee.
