Property Description

Villa Hibou will comfortably sleep 8, has 4 double bedrooms, is completely detached and is not overlooked in any way.

The office will sleep another 2 people, as it is the size of a double bedroom.

The villa is well located, being just a 10 minute walk into the Picasso-made famous village of Ceret.

The property has the most amazing 360 degree views, has a gated entrance and is fully enclosed, making it an ideal choice for families with young children.

Inside the Property

The villa has approximately 260 m2 of living space.

The commanding entrance hall is 6m x 6m and 5m high and showcases a 200 year old antique conversational bench.

The lounge is 9m x 7m and has separate sets of double French doors leading out onto the pool terrace. It is furnished with large sofas, armchairs and equipped with a TV, a DVD player and stereo. There is also a lovely open fireplace.

There is a fully furnished kitchen and breakfast area, as well as a large dining area, with an elegant dining table and seating for 8 people.

There is a separate WC.

There is a grand oak staircase that leads up to the First Floor where there are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a study (5th bedroom) and another separate WC.

All the bedrooms are bright, spacious and enjoy wonderful views of the garden and swimming pool, and are fully furnished.

Outside the Property

Villa Hibou has a very private swimming pool with an infinity view and a great sun terrace where sun loungers are provided.

There is also a pool house with shower and toilet facilities, along with an outside kitchen equipped with a BBQ, electric grill and gas burner, and an outside dining terrace which is fully equipped with a dining table and chairs, making it perfect for dining al fresco.

A table tennis table and equipment is also provided for added entertainment.

Booking & Payment Info

To reserve the property, the client must complete and sign the booking form and return it, together with a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the total cost of the holiday.

The remaining balance, including the security deposit, is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. Reservation made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period, require full payment at the time of booking.

A security deposit of £150 per week or part week of a rental period is required in case of damage to the property or its contents. However, the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the client's liability to the owner. The owner will account to the client for the security deposit and refund the balance due within two weeks after the end of the rental period.

The rental price includes electricity, gas, water.

There is also a high chair and cot available.

Lettings are from Thursday to Thursday in July and August, otherwise they are from Saturday to Saturday in September to June.

The rental period shall commence at 4.00 pm on the first day and finish at 10.00 am on the last day of the rental period.

The maximum number to reside in the property must not exceed 8 unless the owner has given written permission.

A linen pack can be ordered for £6 per person, per week. Should the rental be for 2 weeks, it is possible to opt for a 1 week linen pack and wash the bed linen during the rental.

A Gourmet meal on arrival, or during the rental stay! Choose from an extensive menu and a restaurant quality meal ready on arrival at the villa. This is often very welcome after a long day of travelling. The menu is sent at the same time as the directions to the property. This service may be ordered at any time during the rental period but a minimum of 24 hours notice is required.

Horse riding can be arranged, whether you are an expert, a novice or a complete beginner. What could be lovelier than a ride through vineyards on a trail that takes you through, and a long the river.

A local wine tour can also be arranged. See and taste some of the best wines in the region.
