Property Description

Le Mas sur Loup is nestles in the foothills of the Loup Valley, with spectacular views over the surrounding area.

Originally built in 1845, this beautiful 340 m2 old Mas, has recently been renovated and extended into a beautiful, spacious home.

The Mas is in a quiet residential area and only a few minutes away from the picturesque village of Bar sur Loup, ideally placed between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. It is well situated to explore the Cote d'Azur: only 25 km from Nice International airport, and famous medieval villages such as St Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Tourettes sur Loup and Grasse are all easily accessible.

Bar sur Loup, is just 1 km away from the Mas and has a small range of shops, including a local butcher, a baker, a pharmacy, as well as several excellent restaurants.

Larger shopping facilities can be found in Chateauneuf, just a 2 km drive. Perfume factories can be found in Grasse (5 km), glass blowing in Biot (10 km), famous sweet confectionery in Pont sur Loup (3 km), and various local markets, including Valbonne (10 km), Cannes and Antibes.

The beach is about 20 km from the Mas. Local activities available include swimming, tennis, walking, cycling, horse riding, golf, mountain biking, paragliding and mountaineering etc.

The Mas is available throughout the year for rentals and is conveniently located for Winter skiing, as Auron and Isola 200 are only a 2 hour drive away. Closer to home and more convenient for a day out with the kids, is Greolieres Les Neiges, which is a 45 minute drive.

Inside the Property

This spacious property has a large living room with a fireplace, seating for 6 people and plenty of French doors opening onto the terrace.

The dining room is large and has a dining table for 8 people.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped, with a laundry next to it complete with a washing machine and dryer, along with an ice maker.

There is a study/computer facility next to the kitchen, providing internet access and a computer, is available, if necessary.

The Master bedroom is on level one and is spacious with a king size bed, two large french windows with ballustrades on the exterior ensure that when you open them they are safe and have a spectacular view. It has an en suite bathroom with a large oval bath, with separate shower room and separate WC.

The guest bedroom is situated also on level one and has a queen size bed with an en suite bathroom with a large oval bath and adjacent WC. This room also has beautiful views.

The third bedroom is on the second level and has 2 twin beds, with an en suite shower room and a WC.

There is an air conditioning unit in the property which is for the wine cellar. The air can be cooled with fans available in the bedrooms in the evenings.

Outside the Property

The property is set in 4000 m2 of secluded land which is terraced and surrounded by olive trees.

There is a private swimming pool, fitted with a pool alarm, surround by sun beds and parasols. The BBQ area and terrace around the pool has a large dining table and chairs, ideal for summer entertaining, which enjoys stunning views and idyllic surroundings.

There is plenty of parking.

Booking & Payment Info

PAYMENT: A deposit cheque/transfer for 50% of the total cost is required at the time of booking. The final balance is required 8 weeks before the arrival date.

A bond/security deposit is also taken to cover telephone and any breakages.

Heating in winter will be charged on a usage basis.

All linen is provided, including beach towels.

Final cleaning included in rental price, however, if the property is left in an unreasonable condition, then a cleaning charge will apply.
