The Bastide is an exclusive country house on a par with any luxury hotel on the French Riviera or Cote d’Azur, is ideally positioned n the heart of the Golden Triangle, in the foothills between Mougins and the perfume town of Grasse about 20 minutes from the international airport of Nice, and some 15 minutes from Cannes.

The cosy and stylish country house radiates a serene tranquillity that you rarely find in a crowded hotel in the south of France. It is the perfect place for enjoying the calm of the mountains, or the sophistication of the Croisette. An exclusive and stylish country house, the Bastide offers taxi services; helicopter services and car rentals just like other first class hotels in Grasse, France.

This18th century manor house has been restored with the greatest possible care and decorated by new owner, interior designer, Soraya Colegrave. The Bastide offers something more than a premium French Riviera hotel and has created an atmosphere of total privacy, discreet luxury and personal service. Here guests are greeted and cared for individually, in a delightful, private country home. There is a wonderful choice of restaurants in the region, from the famous Michelin rated to the rustic delights of the mountain auberges in Grasse, Mougins, Valbonne, Cannes and elsewhere.

Close by, some within minutes, are the great golf courses of Provence including Royal Mougins, Terre Blanche, Chateau de Taulane, St Donat, Opio Valbonne.

Tennis Club de Vignal is 5 minutes away

Although out of season this stunning property is usually on a bed and breakfast basis per suite, for the summer season and the Palais des Festival weeks, it is booked out as a large villa.

The large grounds, terracing and huge rooms enable the Bastide to be used for private events such as weddings and dinners. Even an opera performance is now being planned.

All services can be requested separately, i.e. maid service, butler, chaffeur, etc.

Weddings and Events

The Bastide is the perfect venue for a romantic, idyllic wedding ceremony, surrounded by olive groves, fruit trees, fountains and lavender.

Rates for Weddings & Events
Rental rates for weddings and events include full privatisation of the venue i.e. the usage of all of the Bastide rooms, grounds and facilities.

Rental rates are as follows and are subject to 5.5% VAT:

• Weekly rentals from 8, 000 to 15,000 Euros
• Weekend rentals (3 days/ nights) from 6,000 to 12,000 Euros
• Mid week rates by arrangement

 

Private Rental Rates
The entire property including all of its rooms, grounds and facilities is available for private rental. Rates below include a housekeeper on duty 6 hours a day to look after and clean the house and linen. Additional personnel and services are available.

Rates are as follows and are subject to 5.5% VAT:

• High Season: €16,500 per week
• Mid Season: €13,200 per week
• Low Season: €9,900 per week, €2,200 per night (nightly available rental in low season only)

Inside the Property

There are six distinctive suites, each decorated and furnished individually to the highest standards and one en suite single.

Each double room has en-suite facilities, air-conditioning and five have huge stone open log fires. All rooms come with satellite television, a CD player, and a direct Internet connection. You will find all those extra luxuries, which will make your stay so very cosy and comfortable, like cashmere blankets, Ralph Lauren bathrobes and your own drinks tray. Choose from our exquisite individual suites.

The Junior Suite or The Red room has its own delightful terrace. With its deep reds and yellows gives a feeling of discreet self-indulgence.

The Suite or The Beige room has a separate sitting room and bedroom and is the perfect place to spread out and relax.

The Green Room decorated in Provençal olive green offers calmness and luxury.

The Yellow room in warm yellows is a tranquil haven, full of light in the morning sun.

The cool blue of The Blue room is peaceful and full of charm and gives a lovely view of the rolling countryside.

 

 

Outside the Property

In the grounds there is a helicopter pad and a Jeu de boules pitch. Also a wonderful swimming pool and sun terrace with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. It is also possible to have breakfast outside on the terrace.

There are excellent golf courses nearby, beaches, ski resorts as well as riding facilities and tennis courts which arrangements can be made on your behalf. We arrange your golf, tennis, car rental and restaurant reservations, and also offer all the comforts of a first class hotel on the Cote

Booking & Payment Info

Deposit

All reservations are subject to a deposit amounting to 100% of the total cost of the stay. A credit card number in lieu of the deposit is also welcome.

Cancellations

The cost of 50% of the total cost of the stay will be charged for a cancellation received less than 31 days prior to the anticipated date of arrival. In the event of a cancellation less than 5 days or non-arrival 100% of the value of the whole stay will be billed.

Interrupted Stay

If for any reason you have to leave unexpectedly before the scheduled date of departure, the total value of the remainder of the reservation will be billed by the hotel.

Time Of Arrival

All reservations are kept open until 6 pm. Please let us know beforehand if you will be arriving after 6 pm.

Departure/Arrival

Kindly vacate the room by 12 noon. If you wish to prolong your stay beyond midday, please contact us to see if this is possible. Rooms are available from 3 pm onwards. However, we will do our very best to ensure that they are ready earlier, if possible.

For Villa rentals: The security deposit will be £3000 and for specific arrival/departure information, please contact us.

 

Short Term Rental

Outside high season, the Bastide is available for shorter periods of weddings, seminars and over events by arrangement. Usually there is a requirement of 3 days rental at €2200 per day for 6 double rooms, plus a fee per head for a dinner or event.

Room rental is available outside High Season.
