The Bastide is beautifully situated in Vence, overlooking Nice and is nestled in it's vast olive and orange park, offering total tranquility, privacy and panoramic sea views.

The Bastide de Vence is situated 365 meters above sea level overlooking Nice, Cap d'Antibes, Baie de Cannes as well as the Italian Alps

Vence is the main town in the hinterland of Nice and has some 18,000 inhabitants, some 40 restaurants, 20 hairdressers, 20 real estate agents, 10 public and private schools and high schools, 5 supermarkets, 5 bakeries, 5 butcher shops, 5 flower shops etc.

The satellite towns around Vence are Saint Paul, Tourrettes sur Loup, Saint Jeannet, La Gaude, Gattieres, Coursegoules - all with 4-8,000 inhabitants. Between Vence and Nice is Cagnes sur Mer with some 30,000 inhabitants, Nice is large with several 100,000s inhabitants.

Booking & Payment Info

PAYMENT: A deposit cheque/transfer for 50% of the total cost is required at the time of booking. The final balance is required 8 weeks before the arrival date.

A bond/security deposit is also taken to cover telephone and any breakages.
