Property Description

This luxurious 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom impressive South facing, newly renovated villa is situated on the Croatian island of Brac in a prime position on the South coast.

Next to the Adriatic Sea, with panoramic views of the Island of Havar and the Croatian mainland, the villa is built on three levels and nestles in the pine trees. The aroma of pine is ever present. Built of traditional Brac stone (the same stone as the American White House) the house is arguably one of the most stunning villas on the island of Brac.

This fully staffed villa can accommodate up to 14 adults, with its 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms. The main villa has 2 double and 3 twin bedrooms, with a 2 bedroom (1 double and 1 twin) penthouse apartment above. There is air conditioning and heating throughout the villa.

The villa enjoys direct access to the sea jetty and moorings with use of its own boat (extra charge), complete with licensed skipper who is very experience in the fantastic places to take clients from lavender fields, crystal clear bays with little restaurants that can be only reached via boat, vineyards, blue grotto and many more. Being South facing, there is sun all day.  

Stepping down to the waters edge, this beautiful villa is perfect for fishing fans who can dangle their lines from the jetty. The covered dining terrace has fabulous views across to Havar, and is the perfect spot to dine on the days catch.

The villa is situated on the Putinak and Ruzmarine peninsular. Putinak is made up of beautiful stone summer houses. During the summer there is a bakery and a local restaurant Bilin. Putinak is a suburb of Selca and Sumartin. Both villages are fine examples of the old Dalmatian architecture. A great environment to truly immerse in the traditional way of living, but still have all services at your disposal. With excellent transportation connections to the mainland. The villa is close to the Putinak Marina, the boat refuelling station and Sumartin Harbour.

From Split, the villa can be reached by a 40 minute car ferry ride to Brac Island then a 40 minute drive to the villa.

A place for relaxation, this villa is ideal for a family holiday or for a group of friends.

 

Inside the Property

During the winter of 2010, the villa was completely rebuilt to a very high luxury standard.

The villa is entered through the middle level where you will find three bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as one of the three entertainment rooms, complete with plasma satellite TV/DVD and three terraces (one with a table tennis table). 

All the beds are brand new and divinely comfortable for a perfect night's sleep, along with the three sitting room sofas. All the bedrooms have a full view of the Adriatic sea, which is just 10 metres from the terrace.

On the top floor of the villa is the penthouse, which has two bedrooms and two designer 'leather' tiled bathrooms with Phillipe Starck white sanitary ware, including a 2 metre bath. There is also a kitchenette, a sitting room with plasma satellite TV/DVD and library of DVD movies, as well as two terraces, one of which is perfect for nude sunbathing!

On the ground floor, you will find one huge bedroom and one bathroom. This room also has a day bed - perfect for families, complete with plasma satellite TV/DVD.

The main culinary kitchen and dining (full cooking can be arrange by the villa managers) are on this level, as well as the covered terrace and alfresco dining areas.

Outside the Property

Outdoor terraces give plenty of space for relaxing and privacy. 

From this level there are 5 steps to another set of terraces, one of which has a jacuzzi, another with a hammock. A large day bed with loads of cushions can be found here - perfect to read a book and look onto the sea with a cappuccino or cocktail.

There are swimming pool steps, that lead directly in to the sea, with a fresh water shower close by.

The garden and terrace areas are all furnished with outside lounge furniture, perfect for relaxing or dining alfresco.

There are also new kayaks, new bicycles and a variety of other activities including board games, a 'hot dog and extreme 11' to be used with the boat.

The garden is full of lavender, pines, palms, bougainvillea, rosemary, geraniums and many other Mediterranean plants.

Booking & Payment Info

All bookings made by telephone or e-mail more than 8 weeks in advance will be held for up to 7 days by which time we must have received a completed booking form accompanied by a deposit of 30%. As soon as the deposit payment & booking form is received we will issue to you a Booking Confirmation and a final invoice for the full cost of your holiday.

Any booking made within 8 weeks of travelling must be accompanied by both a completed booking form and payment in full in order to confirm the booking. As soon as the full payment & booking form is received we will issue to you a Booking Confirmation for your holiday.

Nearest airport is Split, pick up a hire car or taxi then drive to the Split ferry terminal (30 mins drive from airport). Take a ferry to the island of Brac (about 40 mins journey). The drive to the villa from the village of Selca is about 30 mins.
