Property Description

This luxury 3 bedroom apartment is one of an exclusive development of six.  It has its own private garden and terrace and two infinity pools overlooking the stunning Kalkan Bay. The apartment is built and furnished to a very high standard and we have a local representative who will meet you at the property and be on 24 hour call for your peace of mind. There is a local mobile phone for booking restaurants or taxis and internet access is also available. Situated in what is fast becoming the most popular area of Kalkan and just above the beautiful Mahal Beach Club, Kalkan town centre is just a short drive.

Kalkan is full of wonderful shops and restaurants. Although as yet untouched by mass tourism, it has all the facilities you will require. Our local rep will be on hand for any help or advice you may need.  

Kalkan is a special place. The locals are the most genuinely friendly people you are ever likely to meet. The local cuisine is superb, whether you choose one of the many roof terrace restaurants or down by the harbour. You could spend a month discovering all the restaurants in Kalkan and never have a bad meal. But probably your overwhelming memory of Kalkan will be the view of the bay. Described by one of the Sunday newspapers as "one of the top ten views around Europe", it will really make your heart feel good. 

Due to the terrain around Kalkan most properties are built on a hillside. Access to the property is by a steep flight of stairs which in our opinion makes it unsuitable for wheelchair access or anyone with mobility problems.  Towels and linen are included and will be changed weekly when the property is cleaned. Beach towels are also supplied.

 

Please note you can walk into Kalkan but it takes around 15 minutes.  A lovely alternative is the boat service connected to the hotel which goes from the bottom of the hill and much more pleasant.

Inside the Property

The apartment is fully air conditioned and is situated on the first floor overlooking Kalkan Bay with its stunning views. This is a no smoking property and pets are not allowed. We would also suggest it is unsuitable for young children.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 have double beds with plenty of hanging space and their own balcony with table and chairs. Bedroom 3 has twin beds again with ample hanging space and private terrace. All rooms have a hairdryer and are air-conditioned.  Each bedroom has its own large en-suite wet room which includes shower, toilet and basin.

The fully fitted kitchen has plenty of storage and comes with a dishwasher, fridge freezer,oven, hob and microwave. All appliances are Bosch. A full set of utensils, cutlery and crockery are supplied. 

The utility room has a seperate toilet and sink. There is also a washing machine, hoover, iron and ironing board and airer for use of clients and cleaners.

The open plan living area has a large sofa and coffee table. There is satellite TV, DVD and CD player and ther is internet connection. The large private terrace extends the whole width of the property and has a dining table with 6 chairs.

Outside the Property

The property has a large communal terrace with a garden and two shared infinity pools which are roughly 8 meters by 4 meters. These are tended daily. There are ample sun loungers and umbrellas, shaded seating areas and comfortable sofas with tables. At night the gardens and terrace are illuminated to create a wonderful atmosphere.

The Bluesky apartments are situated in what is fast becoming the "posh" part of Kalkan. It is just up from the Mahal Beach club and only 5 minutes drive into town. When you are in the infinity pool you really do get the impression that the next stop is the ocean.  Built by arguably the finest builders in the area, the apartments are finished to a very high standard. This, coupled with the help and advice, if needed, from our local representative, means all you have to do is sit back, relax and have wonderful holiday.

The apartment overlooks the bay and is a short distance to the Mahal Beach club. The nearest beach is Kalkan which is 5 mins by car or Kaputas which is about 10 minutes. Kalkan is a shingle beach, wheras Kaputas is a rather spectacular sandy oasis. Slightly further away is the wonderful Patara beach which stretches for 10 miles. This is a protected sight and is about 40 minute drive.

Kalkan is about a 90 minute transfer from Dalaman airport. Our local rep can arrange both private transfer and or car hire. The cost of the transfer is roughly £55 for upto 3 people and £75 for 4-6 people. Car hire in Kalkan is recommended but not essential as there are plenty of taxis for hire. We have a local mobile phone which you can use to book a taxi any time of day or night.

Booking & Payment Info

PAYMENT: A deposit transfer for 50% of the total cost is required at the time of booking. The final balance is required 8 weeks before the arrival date.

A bond/security deposit is also taken to cover telephone and any breakages.

Check in time is after 4pm and check out time is before 10am on the day of departure.
